But emptiness

Oh Sweetie, I wish I could fly out there and help ease your lonliness. I hate feeling lonely. If I could, I'd come over with a huge pitcher of margaritas and we could drink and talk all night.
We miss you tons and love you too.

What's the exact meaning of loneliness? being all alone into a hole, or a deep dark cave. Or lost in space with no one to talk with, a lonely and forgotten star somewhere in the milky way, sending light while no one wants to take the time to have a look to the sky. Sending message no one wants to receive.
Or maybe is it just to be alone for a while, by knowing many people are thinking about you. Many stars are lightened up into the sky. But some stars are not blinking as the other ones do. And some people are just looking at those stars, without having a look at the other ones.
And matter of fact, the night's not so dark, not so deep and the shining stars are not so lonely.
